Swinging Country Dance, Knowlwood Restaurant, February 24, 2024

It was a line dancing, boot stomping evening at the old Smith’s barn with Donny and the Walkers playing country hits for the entire second session. During the three Electric Slide dances, the dance floor was packed with close-quarter dancing. Donny and the guest vocalists delivered new country music for a change-up to their usual sound. The floor and restaurant were full for most of the evening, and we had a great time dancing with new and old friends.

Swinging Fifties Dance, Knowlwood Restaurant, March 30, 2024

Poodle skirts and leather jackets were back for the Swinging Fifties Dance at Knowlwood Restaurant. For the second and into the third set, Donny and the Walkers rocked and rolled the fifties memories. We had fun dancing and getting the skirts to flare out. Perhaps that is what made them popular. New dancers are coming for each dance, and a hearty thank you to all who stepped up to welcome them and include them in our dance soiree.

After the dance, we had a sizable group go next door for socializing and gaming until midnight. There were also new gamers! If you’re not ready to end an evening of fun, ask Emi or Jack where the after-dance group is going to meet.

It’s a rain dance! We will either dance during the rain or dance for more rain. Because life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass; it’s about learning to dance in the rain! The Beatlemaniacs AKA Donny and the Walkers will play the second set with Donny’s favorites from the Beatles anthology.

There is plenty of parking at this venue. The inside seating is spacious, with front and back outdoor patios. Join us for a fun evening near I5 on Sand Canyon Avenue.

Donny and the Walkers play the best 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, Christian, Country, Latin, and Rock music with a bass line that makes us want to swing dance, line dance, and slow dance. Enjoy new music by the Walkers and guest vocalists Nick, Greg, Grant, Judi, Scott, Lorin, and others.

It’s Saturday Night and we have dance Fever. In addition to our favorite dance music, the second set will be dedicated to disco dance music by Donny and the Walkers. Come prepared to dance. This is a dance, not a concert. You will be asked to participate.

Special Veteran’s Dance, Knowlwood Restaurant, November 11, 2023

The Donny and the Walker veterans were back at Knowlwood Restaurant on Veteran’s Day! We had a fun evening dancing to some great old and new music from the band and guest vocalists. Some new dancers joined us, and we ensured they had a good evening! That is what it takes to expand the group and have them invite their friends.

We had a great time again at Knowlwood with Lorin celebrating her birthday! Lorin invited family and friends and got to sing some extra songs because Sunny was attending a friend’s wedding. Our great fans were a bit late in arriving on a beautiful Saturday with many entertainment options. However, the barn filled up, and it was a great evening of song and dance. There were some new vocals with Sunny missing. I’ll have them posted soon.

September Is for Singles Dance, Knowlwood Restaurant, September 10, 2023

Although the kitchen was hustling, there was a line for ordering Knowlwood’s fine food selection for most of the evening. Donny and the Walkers and the guest vocalists were in great form. This venue is becoming one of our favorites with plenty of room and a bigger dance floor, although there was NO room to spare for the line dances. The dancing was fantastic, with the existing and many new band fans. Thanks to all for helping to get the newer fans on the dance floor.

Let’s Do Dinner and a Dance at Knowlwood Restaurant ~ July 29, 2023; 6-9 PM

We had a delightful first dance at Knowlwood Restaurant. Thanks to everyone who came and supported Knowlwood. We kept the kitchen busy with a sizable line waiting to order for most of the evening.

The well-rounded menu has breakfast all day, appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, Mexican, seafood, ice cream, and other dessert goodies. The old blacksmith shop had a variety of antiques and memorabilia to check out.

The venue had good acoustics for Donny, Sunny, Audrey, Chris, and Peter. The vocalists Nick, Grant, Greg, Judi, Scott, and Lorin enjoyed the sound and a full floor of dancers. The dance floor was large, but the band and vocalists kept it filled.
