We had another great night of music and fun with the dancers and the band at the Goodbye Winter Dance. Donny and the Walkers were in fine form, at times some people were dancing on the patio, and some by the entry. There were many new faces and everyone was just having a good time together. New music from Donny was I Feel Fine and Sunny sang I Will Survive.
It was a fun evening with the band at MoonGoat. Donny is the master showman and delivered a get performance without Sunny or Greg. All the guest vocalists stepped up, Go Doc!, and did a wonderful job filling in with new music and our favorites. We missed Sunny and Greg but this very weekend, February 11, Sunny and Greg and the full band will be at OC Singles for Christ. Reservations are required at https://ocsfc1org.infellowship.com/Forms/472906
It was a special time for the Donny and the Walkers’ besties. We had Audrey on keyboards and John and Jeff on bass guitar. Judi, Nick, Grant, and Greg sang to an appreciative crowd. With the new players there was only one new tune, but the crowd certainly let the band know how much they enjoyed Ticket To Ride.
It was another great evening dancing with Donny and the Walkers at MoonGoat Coffee Roasters. We had the best fans without being overwhelmed. Additionally, there were seven August birthdays needing to be celebrated: Shirley, Richard, Lisa, Nick, Ben, Wei, and Greg. Debbie generously brought several cakes to make a surprise party.
It was a fine warm but not hot evening of dancing at MoonGoat Coffee Roasters in Costa Mesa. The evening began with a light crowd that grew throughout the evening. With the doors wide open, we were dancing outside on the back patio and in the entryway inside the front doors. When the band shut down, no one wanted to leave until the staff began ousting us.
On a warm Saturday evening in Costa Mesa, Donny Walker and Fo’sho with guest vocalists played to a full house at MoonGoat Coffee Roasters. The outdoor patio and indoor lounge was pleasantly filled but not overcrowded. The band played twenty-nine favorite Cha-Cha, Christian, Country, Disco, Rock, Slow, Twist, Two Step, Waltz, and freestyle dance hits in two and a half hours without taking any major breaks.
