It was a great night of dancing with friends at the coffee shop with Donny and the Walkers. Donny played new music with a big guest vocalist lineup who also sang new music. We had Nick Garcia who rolled out a great performance of Can’t Help Falling in Love, Greg Meeks lit the shop on fire with My Girl (special favorite of mine) , and then the fireman came to cool the place down and Grant Hill had too much fun singing The Fireman. Among all the great music Judi McCaslin got the whole shop walkin’ and dancin’ with These Boots Were Made for Walkin’. What a night!

It was a wonderful cool night for dancing indoor at Angel City in Bellflower. A friendly crowd enjoyed new music Don’t Be Cruel by Donny and The Lion Sleeps Tonight By Greg Meeks. After playing two full sets, the band was ready to play a third but management wanted to prepare for Sunday services.

Donny and the band played two songs after a short break and shut it down. They enjoy playing as much as we enjoy dancing. Gotta love ’em.

The Memorial Day Dance Night with Donny Walker and Fo’sho at Angel City debuted new music. Donny debuted Boot Scootin’ Boogie and Suavecito. Sunny debuted Unchained Melody. It was a wonderful warm night with great music and friends like a private party.

The band played thirty-two dance hits and played well past eleven o’clock. For one song, Lisa had everybody in the house dancing. Always a good time rockin’ with Donny and the band.

A fun Saturday evening with friends in downtown Bellflower at the full but not crowded Angel City coffee shop. Just enough room for everyone to get their fill of dancing and interacting with Donny and Fo’sho. Donny does not let you just sit and watch. In addition to the band’s hats, mustaches, and glasses for some tunes, there a stories and jokes, and the dancers are expected to sing along with some tunes. This is an interactive audience participation show!

The band played thirty-one favorites and although it began a half hour late they played for nearly an hour past the ending time. Everyone was pleasantly exhausted when they played their last dance.
